Mercy Project Open EveningĀ

On Wednesday January 9th the Mercy Project held its first open evening to raise awareness about its work in the city and ask people about their priorities for our community. Those who came heard about the work being launched to help the homeless, the children of refugees, and those living with dementia. Attendees were invited to give their feedback and get involved. With around 40 people in attendance there was a lively and committed discussion and debate about how we can help those most in need.

If you would like more information or would to make a difference and help out with our projects then please send us a message via 07904881430 or emailĀ joe.kirwin@themercyproject.org.uk

The name of God is Mercy

Who we are: We are a new project based in St Mary's Cathedral that is working to end suffering, loneliness and distress in Newcastle and beyond.

What we do: We support the homeless, the lonely, the young and anyone in need. We do this by supporting people to access services, provide advice, offer opportunities to meet new people and learn new skills. Only through the support of volunteers who share their time, skills and knowledge can we make a difference to people's lives
