This is a Memorial window for Stephen Quinn and shows the Martyrdom of Saint Stephen who was stoned to death. The extract from the Acts of the Apostles ll 55 – 60 is printed along the bottom. Stephen looked up to heaven and saw the angels and saints.
The
four archangels are on the left with Mary, and
the saints on the right include Saint Joseph, John the Baptist, Moses with the Ten Commandments, and King David with a harp.
The Acts records that those who stoned him laid their cloaks
at the foot of a man called Saul. This is Saint Paul writing about himself.
LOOK FOR Saul in the purple top, on the far right, with the cloaks at his feet.
